What this exploration is
COLORSELF is an independent, original self-reflection experience inspired by the four preference pairs associated with Myers–Briggs type theory. It is not the official MBTI® instrument and has not been psychometrically validated. It offers language for reflection, not a definitive measurement of personality.
Four dimensions, no better side
E / I · Energy
Where you tend to direct your attention and recharge.
S / N · Information
Whether you first notice concrete details or patterns and possibilities.
T / F · Decisions
What you tend to weigh first: consistent reasoning or personal values and people.
J / P · Life rhythm
How you balance settled plans with room for new options.
How we calculate the result
There are 12 original statements per dimension, six oriented to each side. Five answers range from −2 (strongly disagree) to +2 (strongly agree). Opposite-oriented items are reverse-scored. Each dimension sums to a value from −24 to +24 and is mapped to a 0–100 answer-balance scale. The sign selects the letter; a tied dimension is X. Values within four points of zero are marked close to the middle.
This scale is not a probability or confidence score. All-neutral answers stay balanced rather than producing a forced type. The same scoring is used in both languages.
